The most common mistake when you teach stay
- try to teach too many thing at once work on Stafford duration separately from distraction and distance .

- Maintain a small distance between your and your dog.

- Start by rewarding frequently for stay.
- Use the clicker to tell the dog one his short stay use clicker. clicker is one of the most smart and quick way to tell the dog that he has done perfect job, you may use Yes or good job when your dog done perfect job.
- Use the release command and give a short break after every say
- Use the natural body movement and walk around your dog and if your dog try to move with out your release command then on this act say no no and don't feed him.
- Then after getting the reword on every perfect task dog would make the eye contact and ask you to do the same task again which show that your dog like to do it and love to get the reword.
- After few exercise of the stay increase the distance and repeat the same training just five time in a day on the different place but start it from your home first.
- End every training session with the favourite thing in this case you may use the ball.
